Overview

We retain as little information as possible at every step. We collect only what we need to provide repairs, communicate with you, meet legal and warranty obligations, and maintain basic records of work performed. Session replay and behavioural analytics are currently disabled.

Information We Collect

• Contact details you provide (name, phone, email, mailing address for mail‑in).
• Device and job details (model, issues reported, diagnostics, work performed).
• Payment metadata via our third‑party processor; we do not store full card data.
• When required by agreement or law, parts/component traceability (sources and destinations) for components we use and install.

Website Analytics and Form Privacy

Session replay and behavioural analytics are currently disabled. This website does not load the former Notomo or rrweb collector, use an analytics pixel, or create analytics visitor or session identifiers in your browser.

Your name, email address, phone number, device or project details, and issue description are sent to our form-processing service only when you choose to submit a form. We do not send the contents of those fields to an analytics or session-replay service.

If you select mail-in service, the address text you type into address search is sent to Photon by Komoot as you type so that it can return address suggestions.

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may still process ordinary request information such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time as needed to deliver and secure the website. That operational traffic is not used by us for session replay or behavioural profiling.

How We Use Information

• Provide diagnostics, repairs, returns, and support.
• Communicate about pricing, status updates, and shipping.
• Maintain job records and comply with legal/contractual obligations (including traceability when applicable).

Disclosure and Third Parties

• Forms: contact and device details are sent to our form-processing service at forms.motherboardrepair.ca only after you submit a form.
• Address search: if you choose mail-in service, Photon by Komoot receives the address-search text needed to return suggestions.
• Payments: processed by a third‑party payment processor that keeps only minimal records required to process payments; we do not store full card numbers.
• Shipping: carriers receive only necessary delivery/return details for mail‑in services.
• Legal: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Security Practices

• Least‑privilege access to customer and job records.
• Encryption in transit and secure storage for operational data.
• Restricted retention: we keep job records and any required traceability only as long as operationally or legally necessary.
