Motherboard Repair Canada Sponsorship Guide

Thank you for letting us take part and help make your event happen. We are glad to support events that bring people together to learn, build, repair, and share ideas.

Use what fits your event. These notes are helpful, not strict rules.

What Helps Most

List Us As A Sponsor

If there is room, please add MotherboardRepair.ca to your event page, poster, slides, or sponsor list.

  • Use our full name: Motherboard Repair Canada.
  • Link to our site when the event is posted online.
  • Use a UTM link if you can.
  • Use our logo from the brand guide when a logo is needed.

Keep It Simple

A small sponsor line is enough. Please do not promise free quotes or free diagnostics. If repair help comes up, say we offer a free job assessment to decide if we can accept a repair.

  • Do not stretch or recolor the logo.
  • Do not call us the title sponsor unless we agreed to that.
  • Do not make repair promises on our behalf.

Links To Use

These links help us see which events brought people to the site. Replace EVENT_NAME with a short name for your event, like soldering-night or ai-meetup.

Where To Share

Please share the event where local people will see it. Keep the post about the event first. The sponsor mention can be short.

Local Reddit

A couple of local Reddit posts can help if the event is open to the public. Good places may include r/kitchener, r/waterloo, and, for student-friendly events, r/uwaterloo.

  • Check each community's rules first.
  • Post the real event details, not a sales pitch.
  • Say if the event is sponsored.
  • Ask mods first if you are not sure.

Public Social Posts

If you use public social media, please post there too. LinkedIn, Substack, Meetup, Luma, Eventbrite, Instagram, Facebook pages, and public newsletters can all help.

  • Use the UTM link when you can.
  • Tag Motherboard Repair Canada if the platform supports it.
  • Link to BuildersClub.ca if the event is at Builders Club.
  • Keep the sponsor line small and clear.
